Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have continued their recruitment for 2012 by signing for a second time experienced prop forward Oliver Wilkes.
The 31-year-old, who missed only one match in his first spell with the Wildcats from 2008-09, is returning to the club from Harlequins RL on a two-year contract.
"I'm chuffed to be coming back to Wakefield," he said. "I really enjoyed my time here and I have many fond memories throughout the two years that I was here.
"I'd like to thank Harlequins for a great two years and I wish them all the best for the future."
The Cumbria-born forward has also played for Sheffield Eagles, Keighley Cougars, Leigh Centurions, Widnes Vikings, Whitehaven and Wigan Warriors and won 11 caps with Scotland.
Wakefield chief executive James Elston said: "Oli is a fantastic signing for us. He was a very popular player with our fans when he was here two years ago and he is an incredibly talented forward to have on your team."

Quins RL's big guns Oliver Wilkes and Rob Purdham played for Cumbria, coming up against centre Tony Clubb who played the full 80 minutes for England. As Wilkes attacked, Clubb put in a mighty hit on his Quins RL team mate but came off worse as the two players clashed heads. Clubb sported a black eye in the bar after the game and was disappointed to see Wilkes had come off unscathed.
The two friends had a laugh about the incident as Clubb patted Wilkes on the back and said: "I can't believe you haven't got a scratch or anything after I knocked you backwards."
Wilkes gave a wry smile in return and told Clubb: "That's what happens when you mess with Oliver Wilkes."
Both players remain friends off the pitch and turn their attentions to forthcoming international duties.
