Ground Details: The most famous of all Rugby League venues, more sydney premiership games (over 1000) have been played on this venue than any other.

The ground originally opened in 1886, and has been developed time and time again to become the great stadium it is today holding just over 40,000.

The first league games were played on the venue in 1913, but Rugby League abandoned the venue from 1988 with the development of the new rectangular Sydney Football Stadium (Aussie Stadium) next door.
